Terms of Service

These terms apply to Focusweb's card game app Fisk and the online service behind it. By using the service you accept these terms. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your data.

The service

• Playing against the computer requires no account and works offline.
• Playing online against other people requires an account. You can create one with a username and password, or through Apple or Facebook.
• The service is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads.

Your account

• You are responsible for your password and for activity on your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password and contact us.
• You may only create an account if you are 13 or older.
• Do not create accounts on behalf of others, and do not share your account.
• You can delete your account from within the app at any time. Deletion removes your data as described in the privacy policy.

How to behave

So everyone can play in peace, these rules apply. You must not:

• choose display names or usernames that are offensive, hateful, misleading or infringe someone else's rights;
• harass, threaten or disturb other players;
• cheat, including using software, bots or modified clients that give you information or advantages the game does not;
• deliberately abandon matches to spoil the game for others or to manipulate ratings;
• attempt to access other people's accounts or data, bypass security, or place unreasonable load on the service (for example automated calls beyond normal use);
• copy, decompile or redistribute the app or service beyond what the law allows.

You can report other players from within the app. We review reports manually and may hide a name, require a new one, suspend or close an account if these terms are broken. For serious or repeated breaches this happens without notice.

Online play, AI takeover and interruptions

• The server decides how a match proceeds. Illegal moves are rejected, and the server's version of the match is authoritative.
• If you do not play within the turn time limit, the computer may take over your seat so the others can continue. You reclaim the seat with your next move.
• To avoid waiting, seats at online tables may be filled by computer-controlled players.
• We cannot guarantee that every match can be completed. Network failures, outages or maintenance may interrupt play. In rare cases technical faults may affect ratings and statistics.

Content you provide

What you enter (display name, username and report text) is your responsibility. You grant us the right to display it within the service to the extent needed to run the game (for example your display name at the table and on the leaderboard).

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for stable operation but cannot guarantee that it is always available or error-free. We may change, limit or discontinue features, or the whole service, with reasonable notice where practical.

Liability

Focusweb is not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or loss of data, game progress, ratings or similar arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, or where necessary for security or legal reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Significant changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are heard by the Danish courts, unless mandatory rules in your country of residence give you other rights.
